Above pond filters

Above pond filters which are fed after the pump are the easiest to install and don't require a lot of planning in advance. Their main disadvantage is that pond debris are emulsified (or ground up) by the pump before they can be removed by the filter, making it much harder to remove ground up material than it is to remove whole leaves and lager debris.
